Fuel for the Future: a Visit with Rev. Julián Jamaica Ninán Soto

Fuel for the Future
In times of adversity, our faith reminds us that justice is not a distant dream but a present reality waiting to be embraced. The practice of transformative love can propel us forward, guiding us toward building a world where justice reigns. Join us to consider the challenges ahead, what propels us forward in the work of justice and what can fuel our hope.

RevJulián Jamaica Soto (they/them) was most recently lead minister of the First Unitarian Church of Oakland in California. They have served on the Journey Toward Wholeness Transformation Team Committee of the UUA. Pastor Julián wrote Spilling the Light: Meditations on Hope and Resilience in 2019.

The collection basket from this service will be going to the IMIrJ Sanctuary Fund.

Following the service, join the Bylaws team in Forest Hall from noon – 12:45pm to bring your comments and questions about our proposed Bylaws, which we will vote on at the Annual Meeting in May. Click on this link to see the proposed revised bylaws.

In person, live streamed, and recorded.
