In these difficult times, it seems that each morning’s news reports an additional crisis. Our winter newsfeeds were filled with reports of excessively aggressive immigration enforcement and the mistreatment and even killing of those who would protest.

We read, too, of a dangerously low snowpack and, as the season changes, we read predictions of more volatile weather patterns emerging in a human-altered climate. As spring arrives, a deadly, destructive, and globally disruptive war is raging. These are dark, dark times and we might be tempted to succumb to despair and yet…. And yet, together, we have options. Together we can help shape tomorrow’s story.”
