Does Unitarian Universalism have a Center? WILL BE RESCHEDULED!

Hi WHUUFers!

Our winter adventure continues! WHUUF is still closed as the parking lot is impassable.

We are having services on Zoom again tomorrow at 10:30. Check your email for the link.

We are postponing both the service and the conversation about the changes to the Unitarian Universalist principles. We will have that important conversation in February or March. This Sunday, the service will focus on Practices of Love.  As listening is a primary practice of love, we will take time to listen to each other in small break out groups as we share our stories about our winter adventures or whatever else in our hearts. It will be good to be together.

– Rev. Tracy Springberry

Does Unitarian Universalism have a Center? This questions has been debated for decades, and now the proposed Article 2 language suggests that we do, and that Center is Love. We will explore this question and other ideas in the new proposed Article 2 language.

Followed by a conversation after the service.

Donate the Basket partner for January 21st is the IMIrJ Sanctuary Fund

This quarter’s Donate the Basket is the IMIrJ Sanctuary Fund. The Interfaith Movement for Immigrant Justice (IMIrJ) advocates with a collective of faith communities (of which WHUUF is a part) to “respond actively and publicly to the suffering of our immigrant kin in the U.S. due to unjust immigration policies.”

In person, live streamed, and recorded.
