Everyone makes mistakes. How we make things right again is an issue that strikes deep at the heart of religion. In faith traditions around the world, confession is an important – even required – religious practice. At its best, it can be a practice of accountability and integrity, of healing one’s spirit and strengthening the bonds of community. Together, we’ll explore how Unitarian Universalists might incorporate confession into our spiritual lives, in a healthy and non-shaming way… and we might even solve a few crimes.

Though guest speaker Rev. Sarah Skochko now lives in Portland, OR with her husband and children, she grew up in South Jersey, halfway between Philadelphia and the Pine Barrens. Her first real career was in bartending.
