Growing our Forest Home: A Capital Campaign Update
Summer has seen a flurry of activity for our building teams; and September will pick up the pace even more, with a specific design to be presented to our congregation.
The Design Build Team has been diligent in guiding our architects—Fieldwork Design & Architecture—in developing the most promising design to meet the priorities of WHUUF’s congregation:
1: Accessibility,
2: Larger Sanctuary
3: More space in the Coffee Room
4: More Lobby space
5: Improved audio visual systems.
Plan to meet the architects on September 27. They will present 3D renderings of the proposed spaces to our congregation. That will be followed by a membership vote where we decide whether to launch a capital campaign to raise funds for the building project.
