11/18 – Planning for Western Farm Workers Assoc. Giving Tree – Once again, WHUUF will be participating with a Giving Tree for the kids of the Western Farmworkers Association. If you’ve done this before, you know the drill. If not, think about a few things: 1) can you help organize this? 2) can you help advertise this? 3) can you help deliver the toys at the end? 11/24 – Delivering Holiday (Thanksgiving) Groceries to Western Farmworkers Association families– We’ll need some delivery duos for this activity again this year. WFWA gives us the groceries and the addresses of the recipients, and WHUUFers pair up and deliver. generally to and near the Hillsboro area. It’s fun, and usually only takes about 2 hours.
