About our next concert:

LeMuzeek, fronted by Susan LeMaster, April 27th at 7pm

West Hills Coffeehouse and WHUUF present LeMuzeek, fronted by Susan LeMaster. She is a versatile vocalist who dishes up cool stylings and smoldering warmth with her formidable vocal talent. She is a mature performer who welcomes her audience into the joy of making sound. Susan has been on stage or in the audience since arriving in Portland, Oregon in 1986. Her singing began in gospel choir and moved steadily through jazz ensembles, chorale, mass choir, spontaneous inventions, folk & roll and big band. It includes also three performances at Carnegie Hall. Susan began music studies in Jazz Ensemble and Chamber Choir at Clackamas Community College in 2018. Her music studies continue at Portland State University.

Susan performs jazz standards and popular tunes in duo, trio, quartet, big bands and event settings. For us she will perform as a duo with Angie
Spinelli on the piano. With an impressive catalog of songs in her head, Susan performs the Great American Songbook, emerging jazz standards and jazzified popular songs often also encouraging the audience to sing along.
