June’s spiritual theme is FREEDOM, and with music as our guide, our confidante, and our muse, the Choristers, together with Rev. Springberry will take a broad look at that lofty concept. We will journey back to the oldest known melody from the Mayans in celebratory ritual, feel how a fresh “May Wind” can unlock our guarded hearts, appreciate how “Feeling Good” represents for many, a hard won victory over oppression, and take a far off look from space at the ridiculous notion of “Fences.” And of course, we will raise our voices together and remember how singing songs of freedom and unity can strengthen and embolden our community.
