Our speakers are with End-of-Life Choices Oregon, which is a nonprofit organization that provides compassionate support, education, and advocacy for Oregonians and their families facing end-of-life decisions. They will talk about legal end-of-life options, including Oregon’s Death with Dignity Act, voluntary stopping of eating and drinking (VSED), hospice, and palliative care.  An overview will be given of how the Medical Aid in Dying process works and its usage in Oregon since 1997. They will discuss personal agency and how these options can provide peace for those facing terminal illness. There will be time for questions from the congregation.
