Actor Paul Susi & musician Anna Fritz share about their experience of performing for, and connecting with, people incarcerated in Oregon. Along with their director and stage manager, they spent five weeks last year touring a retelling of Homer’s Iliad to eleven prisons, two schools, a homeless shelter, a church, and a theater. As they went, they found themselves becoming threads, knitting splintered communities together through their art. We will hear some of Anna’s original score for the play, a monologue from Paul, and reflections from them both on the profound impact of the work.
