At flower communion we celebrate the bounty of nature and our community. We can’t be physically together, but we can celebrate flowers and our congregation. We will hold our community in compassion.

Societies change when there is a crisis. How they change is up to us.

Most of us are existing liminal space as we wait to discover what new life awaits us.  What will we discover as we cross the threshold?  How will we meet it?

As we celebrate Earth Day, we’ve learned we can shut down the economy to stop a virus so can’t we transform it to end climate change?

The theme for March is Wisdom. For ages people have striven to be wise. The Oracle at Delphi said Socrates was the wisest person. Socrates didn’t know what that meant, so he began asking wise people what it was. We’ve been asking ever since.

How do we hold our doors and hearts wide open when the storm is strong? Today as we consider why we become stewards for the well-being of WHUUF, we will consider that love and care makes us resilient people.

White people need to learn to live with integrity in a racially divided country. How do we do that?

What if integrity simply meant letting ourselves be exactly who we are instead of who we think we ought to be? If everyone is being themselves, can you have community?
