“To Question Truly Is An Answer”

How my 4th principle search led to Humanism and the guidance of reason.

—————————

Humanism is a philosophy wh

ich contends that humans, relying on science and reason, have the power to build effective and moral lives without the expectation of divine guidance or intervention.

Our Unitarian Seven Principles draw significantly on Humanist foundations. Over the past several years,  WHUUF has hosted frequent Humanist meetings which explore how Humanist thought can provide UNIVERSAL and PRACTICAL guidance to building a good life. In today’s presentation, Tom Needham, Humanist discussion facilitator, will share a brief perspective on Humanism, and describe some of the daunting life challenges the Humanist discussion group has tackled over the years.
