October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and WHUUF’s theme is “Deep Listening”. A good match. The issue of  Domestic Violence is complex and often misunderstood.. For Cheryl Kolb-Untinen, a professional in the field of Domestic Abuse, it is also a personal issue. She will speak with us this morning about the importance of compassionate and ongoing support, and how deep listening benefits us all.

This quarter’s Donate The Basket goes to Lake Oswego-based Respond to Racism, which strives to fight racism in both its city and schools through monthly presentations, participation in minority-oriented events, and designation of scholarship recipients.
