Everyday Inspiration

Inspiration is the spark that encourages us, allows us to think creatively about our lives and make the most of our days. How can we find and encourage this in the midst of our everyday lives? How can we cultivate a practice that fosters inspiration and allows us to plant that spark in others? Our Director of Religious Education, Rebecca Gammons, draws on happiness theory, personal experience, and over 40 years of working to create inspiration around a variety of topics.

Journey Toward Wholeness

Inspired by her participation in last year’s General Assembly, WHUUF member Sulima Malzin set out to participate in Pope Francis’s visit to the U.S, while connecting with friends, family and other UU congregations around the country. She will share with us this morning how her 10,000-mile “driveabout” became a journey that renewed and re-shaped her faith.

Family Christmas Eve Service

Come to a family-friendly Christmas Eve service presented by Rev. Sarah Schurr and our Religious Educator, Rebecca Gammons. Celebrate the holiday in song and story. Service will be at 5:30 PM and will feature the traditional Silent Night by candlelight.

Winter Holiday Concert

Enjoy WHUUF’s adult choir as they present their annual holiday concert. The Choristers, under the direction of Melanie Madigan, will honor the celebrations of many faiths with some new music and some traditional favorites.
