WHUUF’s Inclement Weather Policy

It is the time of year when we must consider how inclement weather may affect our plans.
The recommendation to close WHUUF’s campus is based on:
  • Our analysis of the conditions at WHUUF (including the parking lot)
  • Our analysis of the road conditions near WHUUF
  • Whether our campus has power, downed power lines, or functioning HVAC
  • Whether staff and volunteers can get to work safely​​.
Decisions about campus closure will typically be made by 7:30am and then communicated via email, church voicemail message, Facebook pages, and bulletin board. Before heading to WHUUF, please check your email and/or Facebook page.
We encourage WHUUFers to make transportation and attendance decisions for themselves based on their own assessment of travel conditions at their locations.
